Meet the Worldcon in Brisbane 2028 Team! For the Brisbane in 2028 bid, we’ve assembled a team of some of Australia’s most experienced and innovative conrunners and dedicated fans. We bring a range of experience across both Australian and international conventions and festivals to our working party.
Advisory Board
Our committee is supported and advised by Australian speculative fiction experts and fanatics, PRK and Perry Middlemiss.
Fandom legend PRK regularly attends and assists in the organising of Swancon (chair in 2009), has been a board member of WASFF (the Western Australian Science Fiction Foundation), and is a member of WASFF’s Convention Steering Committee.
Ditmar Award Winner Perry Middlemiss was the chairman of the 57th World Science Fiction Convention in 1999 and co-chair of the 68th Worldcon in 2010. Hear more on his podcast, ‘Two Chairs Talking,’ with David Grigg.
