Local Transport
Getting from the Airport to the convention is very straightforward. There is an AirTrain that goes direct from the international terminal to the heart of Brisbane within 20 minutes, for just $8USD. This is a easy, fast and affordable way to get to Worldcon.
The convention centre is conveniently located just a short stroll from a range of hotels, restaurants, and recreational areas, making it easy to transition from the venue to our Worldcon social activities without needing to rely on public transport. Walking times range from a 2-minute stroll to a 15-minute stroll.
Additionally, delegates can take advantage of free local transport options, such as the CityLoop bus service and the CityHopper ferry, which stop at key inner-city locations along the Brisbane River. Most TransLink buses, trains, CityCats, and ferries are equipped with facilities to assist passengers with disabilities, including low-floor buses, wheelchair ramps, and designated seating.
