Visa Applications and Processing
Everyone is welcome in Australia, with all countries eligible for Visa. Under Australia’s universal visa system, all visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia. No countries are excluded from Australia on political or religious grounds.

It should be noted that eligibility for an eVisitor visa and ETA will be determined by the country of passport that the applicant holds.
International Event Coordinator Network
The Australian Government Department of Home Affairs International Event Coordinator Network (IECN) will support Worldcon attendees in applying for their Visa to enter Australia. They are here to make the process as easy an seamless as possible
The IECN provides updates on the progress of visa applications, confirmation of the lodgement of visa applications by event participants, and liaison with Australian visa offices overseas to resolve issues arising in the visa application process.
